PlayRetroblox is a Twitter account owned by Retro Dev Admins, Developers and was formerly owned by Jimmybagodonuts before getting their account taken by the devs.
On the account, they post updates and announcements regarding about RetroStudio and RetroBlox.
History
On October 17th, 2020, Jimmybagodounts made the Twitter account as an unofficial Retro Dev Twitter News account. At the first, the developers of Retro Dev didnt care, until the account got big.
They would later approach Jimmy and asked for access to it to make it an official Twitter account for Retro Dev. At first, Jimmy wasnt sure, but they made an deal with Jimmy if he gives them the login to the Twitter account, they would make Jimmy an admin. However, after Jimmy gave them the login, they immediately changed the email and password the account used and removed Jimmys access to it while not giving him admin as they promised. Basically backstabbing Jimmy in the process.
On October 22th, 2020, they eventually gave Jimmy the access back, as well as every other admin and dev at the time.
On June 23th, 2021. Jimmy would make an tweet basically calling out SharkBlox on him using Rthro (Scaled up R15 body). Cristiano later removed Jimmys access to the account.
The account later become boring and less interacted without Jimmys involvement, and would sometimes be used as Cristianos Personal account.
Incidents
On October 31st, 2020, there was an Discord channel that automaticly reposted Tweets to Discord.
On November 9th, 2020, Jimmy posted the first ever leak about RetroStudio as a first ever teaser without realizing he accidentally leaked it without devs permission. However no one really cared since the leak in question was just an baseplate with an brick on it, and it completely lacked any context on what it was about.
On January 24th, 2021 an former admin named "Null" simply posted "sex" on the Twitter account using the RetroBot Tweet command. The Tweet is nowadays deleted.
Trivia
- Cristiano would often block literally everyone who annoyed him, and Jimmy would had to step in, apologize for his behavior and unblock, everytime that happened.
- The tweet replies made by people are usually kids begging Retro Dev to make more promo codes.
- The tweets were often made using an Discord bot called "RetroBot".
- The last tweet was made on "January 22, 2023" which was about admin applications.
