Retro Craft was the official public Minecraft server for Retro Dev.
It runs the latest version of Minecraft 1.19, and supports both Java and Bedrock players through the use of Geyser.
Rules
Here's the list:
[1] Use common sense
[2] Don't use offensive language towards others
[3] Do not use any client/mod(s) that would give you an advantage over someone else. [Fullbright is allowed]
[4] Do not chop down the bottom half of a tree, leaving the rest to stay there forever, Cris is able to view who broke what with the CoreProtect plugin, and you will be punished for this.

Gameplay (WIP)
The gameplay is basiclly same as survival but with a twist.
You can buy and sell with your ingame money and when make or join a town.

How do I play?
To play you'll require a Java account, and any device that runs either Minecraft : Bedrock Edition or Minecraft : Java Edition
You can join the server using the ip mc.retro-dev.net
For bedrock players, change the default port to 25565
How do I make money?
You are able to make money by selling items either to other players or to the server shop. (accessible by /shop or through the /sellall or /sellall hand commands.)
How do I create and manage a town?
You are able to create a town for $250 with the command /town new <town name>
The server uses the Towny plugin, you are able to find various things to help on Google, aswell as YouTube.
Incident
On April 21, 2026, Frecky, an administrator of RetroCraft, allegedly teleported a streamer to a place he had built that was surrounded by hard r n word and swastika made from wood and redstone blocks. Since the person was streaming, the incident was recorded and clipped. Frecky denied everything and claiming the footage was fake on another server and IP banned four to five users who attempted to speak out about the situation.
The situation was brought to Cristiano100’s attention, Cris reviewed the server logs and confirmed that the incident did happen. As a result, Frecky was banned from the Discord server for admin abuse and lying.[1]
Trivia
- The server also has a Discord bot also called RetroCraft.
- Before this server existed, there were many Retro Dev Minecraft server that stopped being hosted.
- On September 26th, 2021, the server shut down and all of the RetroCraft channels (except Minecraft Chatting vc) on the Discord have been removed.
